Gonna start skateboarding again this summer.
Unfortunately it’s not like when you learn to ride a bike.
You can’t just learn and stop for 5yrs and hop back on like nothing happened.

At 15yrs old I chose to start wearing my hair naturally. Now with me having that whole Black thing, its made a choice that is truly a blessing a pain in the ass.
Also at 15, (on March 25), I reverted to Islam, which caused even more conflict with that Black thing I have going on. It was an amazing road to my conversion, and has been one thus far.
But as you could imagine coming from a Christian family that buys more into society's view of beauty, its been rough and has left me feeling a bit isolated. I usually drown my feelings out with music and prayer. But that hasn't been working lately; I needed something to take my mind away from this negativity. Thus my blog was born :D
